It's day 4 of my 21 days of giving thanks!
Day 4:
Today I am thankful for something I never thought I would be thankful for - THE LIBRARY! I love, love, love to read anything and everything I can get my hands on and I blow through books pretty quickly. We figured out that I read about 90 books when Patrick was deployed for 7.5 months earlier this year, so he banned me from buying books, haha! When each book varies from $5-$15, that really starts adding up when you read as many books as I do. Since Patrick didn't want to completely cut me off from my beloved books, he suggested the library that is 3 blocks from our house. At first I pitched a little fit b/c I thought the books would be all germy and gross (I even told Patrick I was going to catch the Ebola virus from the books. I know, I'm a brat) but seriously, that place is like heaven! Free books everywhere! I could easily spend hours browsing the shelves and finding new literary treasures, although now I usually use the online book reservation system. So easy! Thanks to the library I can read to my little heart's content, without breaking the bank. It makes us both happy. And I do Lysol each book I check out, just to be safe. :)

I love the way libraries smell... oh!
Oh the days when I could wonder around the library looking at books! Now I have to run through as I push a stroller and chase Keaton around while I just grab 3 books randomly off the shelf and pray at least one of them is good! =)
I'm with you. I read about 5 books a week. I go to both the town library and our church library. Our church library is a GOLD MINE. I run out of books I haven't read at the town library, but don't think I ever will at church. Because I go through books so quickly I can reread books that I read last year and they are only vaguely familar, too! lol
Right now I'm reading the Lonestar series by Colleen Coble. It's hard to put down!
